Floppy Disk Recovery can be broken down into two categories:
Physical Disk Recovery - If your floppy Disk has been physically damaged we can help. In many cases even though the floppy disk cover is damaged, the data inside is still available for extraction. Stellar Data Solution Pvt. Ltd. can help. Do not attempt to use the disk as this may cause further damage to the data.
Logical Disk Recovery - If you have accidentally formatted your floppy disk, deleted files, overwrote your files or suffered a virus attack. These are issues we refer to as "logical" meaning we do not have to physically repair the disk, merely extract and reassemble the data.

Stellar Data Solution Pvt. Ltd. can recover your data from all types of floppy disks and portable media such as:
Standard 720/1.44/2.88 Mb Floppy Disks
100/250 Mb Zip Disks
100 Mb LS-120 Disks
Micro Drives
Legacy Disks such as 5.25" Floppy Disks
Because of the portability and thin media of Floppy Disks, they are more susceptible to physical damage, contamination and magnetic media failure than the platters on a hard disk.
Always keep floppy disks away from sources of magnetism. One often overlooked yet devastating source of magnetism is Mobile Phones . They frequently produce electromagnetic radiation pulses as they determine their position within the network. The pulses are often much stronger during an actual transmission, especially in an area of bad reception. One single EMR pulse is enough to zap a floppy with the data completely destroyed resulting with an unusable floppy.
Typical Floppy error messages are:
Error Reading Drive
Not Ready Reading Drive
Bad Sector
Other sources of magnetism are metal-detector scanners in airports. If you have to take a floppy through an airport, remember to place it in the tray before going through the metal detector or scanner
One source of physical damage is dust or grit entering the metal sleeve that protects the disk's surface. Never pull the sleeve back.
When you get error messages trying to read a floppy, along the lines of; cannot read sector, Invalid media, cannot find file, invalid disk, etc. are all indicative of a corrupt floppy disk, and in most cases we can recover the original data.
